The crucified life (beloved)
Words I woke up to this morning.
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20 NASB1995
“knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;” Romans 6:6 NASB1995
“For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3 NASB1995
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NASB1995
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24 NASB1995
“Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Galatians 5:24 NASB1995
“Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:11 NASB1995
“It is a trustworthy statement: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;” 2 Timothy 2:11 NASB1995
Thank You Lord for another day with You,
For encouraging words of life for this life and the life to come.
Thank You for the body of Christ and how we can encourage one another.
May we do that well and truly love one another deeply as You do in perfection.
“The Mighty One,
God,
the Lord,
has spoken,
And summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.
Out of Zion,
the perfection of beauty,
God has shone forth.”
Psalms 50:1-2 NASB1995
