“When they heard it, they began to go out one by one, beginning with the older ones, and He was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the center of the court.”
John 8:9 NASB1995
“When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”” 1 Kings 19:13 NASB1995
“Now the angel of the Lord found her(Hagar) by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.” Genesis 16:7 NASB1995
“There *came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus *said to her, “Give Me a drink.” For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.” John 4:7-8 NASB1995
I love how each of these individuals were not left alone when they thought maybe they were.
They were pursued in different ways but when it was just Jesus there, His presence, His eyes on them, it was everything they needed.
More than enough.
I just love the images I have when I read each passage of scripture.
Each person with different emotions and reactions all deeply loved by One and the same faithful all seeing and knowing LORD.
