“and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭ My dad owned a record player, this was back in the day when 8 track tapes were around and he had a few.
He owned a Neil Diamond record that I loved to listen to with black corded headphones on.
It was my "escape" time.
The song "Beautiful Noise" was one of my favorites on the album. One of the lines says, "It's a beautiful noise, and it's a sound that I love."
This passage reminds of that lyric.
To have been there with Jesus and to hear and witness the beautiful yet terrifying sound of our Beloved Creator. It's an overwhelming scene to ponder.
How wonderful to have been a part of that at that time.
To be chosen, singled out for that blessed moment.
That most holy moment that we can only read about and yet we can partake too. God is so good to us to share with us this truth.
I love the sound of His voice. The Word says His sheep know His voice.
Thankful for His goodness and kindness each day and night.

Always praying that we would have ears to hear and eyes to see.
To continually turn our face to Thee.
