Good morning. It's a beautiful day. If you are reading this, God has given you His breath again to live and His love for us is wondrous and amazing.
These past two days there has been a chill in the air, I love it. We had some hot days and the cool is so refreshing. Walking in the park this morning with the warmth of the sun was so good. All of this month, I have been pondering the scripture Genesis 3:8, "And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day," Cool in Hebrew is Ruwach- meaning breath, wind, Spirit. The same word appears in Genesis 1:2 "and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." as Spirit, Spirit=Ruwach.
The cool breeze is from God. What a gift to feel that with our soul.
It touches our skin and moves the soul knowing the source, the Creator Almighty, who gives such love and assurance of being with us, wherever we go.
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Matthew 28:20 "and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." His word does not come back void ever. He is our rock, He alone can do all things, He brings us life abundantly, hope and joy.
There is nothing that can compare with the sound of the wind, the swaying of trees by His mighty hand, yet gentle at times. The whistle of wind coming through the cracks of our dwellings that can't seal it all out. I welcome the sound. The other day I was looking up as a bird was approaching the tip of the top a very tall tree. Just before the sun set I watched this bird and saw this golden light reflect underneath its body. The dark feathers were made golden by this marvelous light that occurs once a day, in the cool of the day.
I watched the bird as it balanced and was so comfortable up so high watching the day slowly turn to night.
What a gracious God to show me this. I don't want to take any of it for granted. Each day He gives I want to rejoice.
1 Thessalonians 5:16 "Rejoice always."
Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice!"
Renew our minds to these truths everyday. Wondrous, captivating mighty Holy God. Thank You. Such love, thank You.
