For as long as I can remember, I've been told I look just like my dad's mother. While my dad was in the hospital, I stayed at his new home, and saw this picture of her. She was married at age 14. I also found out through my stepmom that we do have Italian on my grandfather's side. I love learning about our family. And how everyone grew up. I don't know my grandmother, I have seen her maybe 5 times in my life. She says I look like her too. So I put our pictures side to side. I'm not sure, maybe they see better than I do. My grandmother is 97 in June. I know she is a wonderful cook and is a wonderful gardener. I know she is French/ Spanish. And that is basically what I know. I'd like to know more. I can't imagine being 97. And she still does mostly everything on her own. It's late, I'm tired, this month has been amazing and exhausting and so much more.
