Beth asks us to share in our group, well I don't have a group at the moment so I guess I will share here.
What happy or annoying quirks would I tell about my family when I was growing up?
Mom- (Happy)She would sing out of tune in church, extreme high to low. (Annoying)When my mom blew her nose, she would do it 3 times in a row (I changed it).
Dad-(Happy) Would blast music every Sunday morning and dance. (Annoying)Would fall asleep every Sunday in church.
Stepfather- (Happy) He would spoil my mom with funny joke gifts. (Annoying)He was Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde.
My oldest/only brother- (Happy) He kept his room immaculate, every book and record had its place. (Annoying) He lived like a hermit.
Oldest sister - (Happy) Would write scripts and plays for us to perform. (Annoying) Total neat freak, room never messy, ever.
Sister a year and a half older- (Happy)Seriously can't think of one? Help?(Annoying)It was her way or the highway.
Me???????
I would love to hear it, but I can only speak for myself. (Happy)??(Annoying)?? I'll have to think on this one.
I ended up asking my sisters and mom the question for myself. Tells you how much I've grown to ask for the truth.Well their version of the truth.
So far only my oldest sister has responded,
(Happy)Your(me) luggage for our Summer trips to California was all stuffed animals(I knew my priorities)and here is the best part,
which is totally my sis,
"I can't really think of any annoying quirks, you were so easy going."
But, then she said, "The only "annoying" remembrance I have is when we would sit around the dinner table and tell about our day,
and you would be trying to talk over us to tell about your day, and it was always some made up story.
Which now I realize what you were doing and think it is adorable, but at the time I wondered why you were making up a story instead of what really happened in your day."
Yes, the youngest, we all have our quirks.
