Your star will shine again

The title of this is from a song I am listening to, by Berlin.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the blog, but it is in my head.
Maybe it will by the time I am done writing this.
Today my son graduated from elementary school.
They had a ceremony that lasted an hour and a half.
It seems a little silly to me that they have ceremonies for elementary and preschool, etc.
But then, I'm old school.
The big ceremony was always high school.
Doesn't matter, they do it.
I went.
The principal was making this huge announcement about not blocking the isle and to not take pictures up front so other people could see.
But, of course 1 person broke that rule midway through.
Which meant another person felt compelled to follow, since the rule has obviously been broken.
And by close to the end, it was so out of hand the principal had to stop her speech to have parents sit back down, yada yada, yeah.
What did I do?
I sat in my seat the whole time.
But, I had a long lens with me, it helped.
It was crazy though, geesh it is only elementary, but parents are parents.
And we aren't all the same.
So there you go.
By the way a super cute little boy in a brand new blue suit was rolling all over the ground next to me the whole time, the dusty, dirty floor. Made me smile, he was having a good ole time.

how come you didn't post any of those pics? I would've loved to have seen them :))
You know, I didn't bring my tripod! So, they didn't turn out that great, but I have a group shot of some of his friends I will post.
He will be the one second from the right, next to the in focus boy:)
