Hey Ho, chased a dollar bill today.
Hey, it's been awhile, I actually forgot the name of this blog!
Today has been rather chilly, been spoiled by the warm sun (as opposed to the cold sun) for days now.
Was out helping to sell GS cookies for a couple of hours at Walmart.
Seriously don't like that place.
Why you ask, even if you didn't ask, why you ask?
I will tell you. Just shut your eyes to this part if you don't care to know.
Just because they are soooooo crowded and I get a bad vibe there.
Plus, I went there once for the early before Christmas thing sale and they didn't have the item I wanted. And I never have done that again. People have been trampled there. Crazy.
Nope, I am a Target person. I actually wish I didn't have to shop at all.
Stop complaining Julie. Yes, ok.
So, today some lady in a dress with no sleeves in the freezing wind no less, gave me her money, and a dollar flew out of my hand.
Flew and fluttered in the brisk and freezing wind.
I chased it, but my hair kept flying in my face making it hard to see where it was going.
Meanwhile the girl scouts and fellow adults and passengers were getting a hearty laugh as was I trying to chase a measly dollar. But, they add up, and it wasn't mine, so on I went.
Squatting and pushing my hair out of my eyes, still clutching the money bag, I finally stepped on it as the wind finally drew to a still puff. I composed myself (sorta) and walked back to huge grins and we laughed for another 5 minutes until the wind gave a good shove of icy bitterness to put me back into shiver mode.
I like the sun, it is a grand friend.
And the wind can bite me.
Which it does.
And it is good at it's job.
